Alcatel (formerly Alcatel OneTouch), announced the Alcatel Pop 4 series smartphones at the MWC 2016 – the Alcatel Pop 4, Alcatel Pop 4+ and the Alcatel Pop 4S. All three devices run Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, supports 4G LTE connectivity and are affordably priced.
Starting with the Alcatel Pop 4 which is the least of the trio; it sports 5-inch 720p HD display, powered by a quad-core qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.11GHz with 1GB of RAM, 8GB built-in expandable storage space, front 5MP camera, rear 8MP camera and a 2500mAh battery.
The Alcatel Pop 4+ has the same specs as the Pop 4 but differs with a bigger display (5.5-inch 720p), increased RAM (1.5GB) and Storage space (16GB built-in).
The Alcatel Pop 4S stands out with a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD display and relies on an octa-core Helio P10 processor clocked at 1.8GHz with 2GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage space and backed by a 2960mAh battery. For photography, there is a rear facing 13MP camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, and a front facing 5MP wide-angle selfie camera.
All three Alcatel Pop 4 Series devices are available in vast collection of colours and styles – Hairline-Brushed, Leather, Wood and Baby Skin. There is no word on pricing and availability.
