Cubot S550 Pro & X16S Smartphones with 13MP Rear Camera, 3000mAh battery goes official

After launching cubot Rainbow, Dinosaur and X17s smartphones, Cubot, the Chinese handset maker has been listed another two new devices with medium specifications on official website, named as Cubot S550 Pro and Cubot X16S. The Cubot S550 Pro handset is the upgraded version of the Cubot S550, which was launched in January 2016. Usually, S means enhanced version of the device, but cubot X16s smartphone has downgraded to camera and resolution but increased battery, software and RAM of Cubot X16 that was launched back in 2015. Both devices feature Fingerprint sensor for unlocking the screen.


Cubot S550 Pro:

It sports 2.5D-OGS touchable 5.0-inch IPS HD display with 1280 x 720-pixel resolution and offers the pixel density of 294ppi (Pixel per Inch). Under the hood, it comes powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6735A Quad-core processor clocks at 1.3 GHz along with Mali T720 GPU. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The handset supports dual SIM and offers 4G LTE connectivity options. It has 16 GB internal storage which will expand via microSD card slot upto 128GB and 3GB RAM.

The device bears 13-megapixel rear sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 1.0A LED flashlight. It can record a video upto 1080p at 30 frames per second and in the front, it has an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. It comes packed with a 3000 mAh battery which will last a battery life more than a day usage. The smartphone measures 151.7 x 76.5 x 7.0 mm of dimension and unknown weight.

Cubot X16S:

The Cubot X16s smartphone features a 5.0-inch display limited to HD screen resolution compared to Cubot X16 has a 1080p. It offers 294PPI of pixel density and 2.5D-OGS touchable screen. It has a 1.3GHz quad-core processor accompanied by MediaTek MT6735A SoC with Mali-T720 GPU. It runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow laid on top. The handset has a 13-megapixel rear camera while on Cubot X16 sports 16MP resolution. It can record videos up to 1080p at 30 frames pre second. Upfront, 8-megapixe front snapper for capturing selfies and video calling.

The device comes with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB inbuilt storage which can be further expandable upto 128GB via microSD. It is fueled by 3000 mAh capacity battery and has a 7.0mm thickness while on cubot X16 has 6.2 mm thickness. The handset supports 4G LTE connectivity.
