Cyanogen OS 13.1 with Mods support is now rolling out for the OnePlus One

Cyanogen Inc. and OnePlus are now pushing Cyanogen OS 13.1 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update to the OnePlus One. The biggest feature in this build is that the software is a Mods ready, so users can install different mods without the need of flashing to extend the software functionality. Talking more about it, the Mods are built natively into the operating system, so these Mods technically come with tighter integration with core operating system. To keep it even simple, the third party apps like Cortana, One Note, and others can now take advantage of platform APIs to lend unique experience.

The Cyanogen OS 13.1 (COS 13.1 —ZNH2KAS1KN) update includes mods for Skype, Hyperlapse, Twitter, Cortana, and OneNote. Here’s everything you need to know about Mods.
