Gionee Pioneer P4 offers dual SIM capability. It has two SIM card slots that can accommodate different providers. It allows you to manage your cards for both voice communication and data connection purpose. The phone sports a spacious 4.5″ display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels (218 ppi pixel density). The resolution is pretty low for its size. The quality of the visuals is not special, but it’s not a big deal if you use the phone mainly for its basic function. The touchscreen is responsive so you can navigate through menus smoothly. It already supports multitouch too. Standard features like Accelerometer and Proximity sensor are included.
Gionee Pioneer P4 runs on Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system. Under the hood, a Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 processor is backed by Mali-400MP2 GPU and 1 GB of RAM. It deliver decent processing speed. Apps can load fast so you can save time. Transition between menus is smooth without any serious lag. Multitasking shouldn’t be a problem for this device. It also has the capacity to play various games pretty well. To store your files, it provides 8 GB of internal storage. Memory card slot is available to expand the storage capacity (supports up to 32 GB). Connectivity features are quite standard. It includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot; Bluetooth; and microUSB.
A modest 5 MP camera is embedded on the back of the phone. It features autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection and video recording capability. It’s not an impressive camera, but pretty reliable for social media purpose. On the front panel, it has 2 MP camera that can be used to take self portraits. It’s also good enough for video calling. - From the Main Screen go to Settings.
- Select Backup and Reset option.
- Tap Factory data reset.
- Choose Reset Phone.
- Tap Erase everything to confirm the operation.
