Gionee Pioneer P6 is an Android smartphone with dual SIM capability. It has two SIM card slots that accommodate different providers. It’s more practical and efficient. The design is pretty good. It sports a large 5.0″ display and has slightly curved corners that give ergonomic feels. The display has a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels (196 ppi pixel density) which is quite low for its size. Thus you can’t expect for superb quality visuals. Swiping through menus is easier with the support of a responsive touchscreen. It is also equipped with multitouch. Apps can be launched properly and you can switch menus smoothly. Multitasking is not a problem for this device. You can play games comfortably although it may take more efforts to handle high-graphics games. The phone has 8 GB of internal storage to accommodate your files. If you want to store many videos or music then you must add external memory card to expand the storage capacity. It has a variety of connectivity features including Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot; Bluetooth v4.0, A2DP; and microUSB v2.0.
The phone has a modest 5 MP camera on the back of its body. It’s backed by some features like autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, panorama and video recording capability. The phone also has a front-facing 2 MP camera which is equipped with LED flash. It’s a pretty good camera for video calling or taking selfies. - From the Main Screen go to Settings.
- Select Backup and Reset option.
- Tap Factory data reset.
- Choose Reset Phone.
- Tap Erase everything to confirm the operation.
