HTC Launches Desire 626G Plus With Dual SIM Support

HTC launched a new budget-range smartphone in India, the Desire 626G Plus Dual SIM, priced around Rs. 12,990. The smartphone will be available in Blue Lagoon and White Birch colour variants with major retailers or through online e-commerce partners like Snapdeal, Flipkart, etc. in the coming weeks. It is important to mention that the Taiwanese tech company nearly a year ago launched the single-SIM version of the smartphone in China, with significantly different specifications. The dual-SIM (Nano-SIM + Nano-SIM) supporting Desire 626 comes with HTC Sense UI on top of Android. While the company has not cleared that the Android version, we can expect the HTC Desire 626G Plus Dual SIM to operate on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

The smartphone also features a 5-inch (720×1280) pixels HD display and is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor that is equipped with 2GB of RAM. The HTC Desire 626 supports 16GB of in-built storage that can be expandable upto 32GB through microSD card slot. It also features a 13MP rear primary camera with a BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 28mm lens, and LED flash, apart from a there is also a 5MP fixed-focus front-facing camera with a BSI sensor for selfies and video chatting. The rear camera also features scene detection, panorama, geo-tagging, best shot, smile shot, and HDR options as well.

Apart from 4G LTE, the HTC Desire 626G Plus Dual SIM supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, A-GPS, DLNA, GLONASS and FM radio connectivity options. It is also powered by a 2000mAh powerful battery capacity and includes accelerometer, ambient light, and magnetic sensors also. The Desire 626 Dual SIM measures dimensions of (146x70x8.19) mm and weighs around 135 grams only. The smartphone connectivity options included are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB and GPS.
