LeEco (LeTV) debuted the Chinese smartphone market last year by launching three Superphones Le 1, Le 1 Pro and Le Max and has tasted huge success in very less span of time. Now, the company has scheduled an event for April 20th where we can expect the launch of next-gen Superphones Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2. Earlier, we exclusively covered about the LeEco Le 2 smartphone listed on GFXBench and Le 2 Pro was also spotted online that revealed important details. Now, the upcoming LeEco Le 2 has received the TENAA certification giving us the glimpse of the design and showing most of the relevant information.
As per the TENAA listing, the LeEco Le 2 (X621) will flaunt a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD display offering 401ppi as pixel density. Under the hood, the smartphone will come powered by 2.3GHz deca-core processor and we can expect it to pack MediaTek Helio X25 deca-core SoC. It has 3GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage and there is no information about the inclusion of a microSD card slot. It supports dual sim dual standby and runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Connectivity options on the device include 4G-LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Infrared sensor, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth and microUSB Type-C port.
On the camera front, the device will come equipped with a 16MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front snapper for selfie lovers. The smartphone comes with an all-metal unibody design and also features a fingerprint sensor at the back of the unit for enhanced security. The recent rumors also suggest that the smartphone will skip the 3.5mm audio jack and includes a common port for both charging and audio. The handset powers a 3000mAh battery and will also support Fast Charging technology. Its dimensions measure 151.1 x 74.1 x 7.7 mm weighs 153 grams and is listed in Gold, Grey and Silver color options.
Although the company has confirmed none of the above details, we advise you to take this with a pinch of salt. Recently, the LeEco Le Max 2 (LE-X21) was spotted online on AnTuTu with high-end features like 2K resolution display, Snapdragon 820 quad-core SoC, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, 21MP rear camera, 8MP front shooter and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. The smartphone is also expected to feature Qualcomm’s Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
