In the age of Android Marshmallow, Oppo decides to bless Mexicans with an Android Jelly Bean smartphone – the Oppo Sky and it is available via mobile operator – Telcel and Linio.com.mx. It will arrive in is Gold & Silver colours, and expected to sell for a price tag around MXN 1739 (US$ 92).
Moving to the Oppo Sky specs – it sports a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA IPS LCD display, powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB built-in storage space and a microSD card slot for expansion up to 32GB.
For photography, the device makes uses of a front facing 2-megapixel camera with f/2.8 aperture and a rear facing 5-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture and soft LED flash. Some of the camera features includes Audio Photo, Beautify, HDR, Panorama and Normal.
The Oppo Sky supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks as well as Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n options. It packs measures 132 x 65.8 x 9.2 mm in dimensions and weighs 133 grams. It has a Single SIM slot, runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS with the company’s ColorOS 1.4 UI ontop and is backed by a non-removable 1900mAh Li-Po battery.
