Blu Dash M comes with dual SIM capability. It has two SIM card slots that accommodate different providers. The phone offers an ergonomic design with slightly curved corners. The 5.0″ IPS LCD display is dominating the front panel. It has a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels (196 ppi pixel density) which is quite low for its size. The visuals are not impressive, but it might not be a big deal if you doesn’t use the phone for entertainment purposes. The good thing is it has wider viewing angles. The touchscreen is spacious and already supports multitouch. It feels responsive so you can swipe through menus easily. Basic features like Accelerometer and Proximity sensor are included.
Blu Dash M is a low-end smartphone running on Android v5.0 (Lollipop) operating system. For the performance it counts on a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 processor which works together with Mali-400 GPU and 768 MB of RAM. You can’t expect superb processing speed from the device, but it has enough power to do simple tasks. Apps can be launched properly. You can switch menus easily although you might find minor lags. As long as the device is not loaded with too many apps, it seems reliable to support your daily activities. To store your files, it only has 4 GB of internal storage. Thankfully, it provides memory card slot for storage expansion. You can external memory card up to 64 GB.
Connectivity features are pretty standard. It includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot; Bluetooth v4.0; and microUSB v2.0.
The primary 5 MP camera is embedded on the back of the phone. It has supporting features like LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus and video recording capability. The camera is fairly reliable for everyday use or social media purpose. On the front panel you can find a secondary 2 MP camera. It’s good enough to make video calls. The selfie quality is not impressive but still acceptable. - From Main Menu go to Settings.
- Find Backup and Reset option.
- Select Factory Data Reset.
- Tap Reset Phone.
- Select Erase Everything.
