Maxwest Astro 5 Easy Factory Reset Method

Maxwest Astro 5 comes with dual SIM capability. It provides two SIM card slots that can accommodate different providers. You can manage them according to your needs: one card for voice communication and the other for data connection. The phone has fairly good design. It has curved corners that give you more comfort when holding it. A 5.0″ IPS LCD display is dominating the front panel. It has a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels (196 ppi pixel density) which is actually quite low for its size. You might not be able to enjoy high quality videos, but at least the display has wider viewing angles. You can still read text and view other contents clearly. The touchscreen is responsive and already supports multitouch. Other features like Accelerometer and Proximity sensor are included too.

Looking inside, the phone is powered by quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 processor. It works together with Mali-400MP2 GPU and 512 MB of RAM. You can count on the phone to do simple tasks although you can’t expect monstrous speed from it. Apps can be launched properly and the transition between menus is relatively smooth. To store your files, the phone only has 4 GB of internal storage. Fortunately, you can expand the storage capacity by using external memory card up to 32 GB. Connectivity features are pretty standard. It includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot; Bluetooth v4.0; and microUSB v2.0.

The phone has an 8 MP camera on the back of its body. It has some supporting features like autofocus, LED flash and video recording capability. The camera is pretty reliable for everyday use. It captures good quality pictures and videos. A secondary 1.3 MP camera is attached on the front panel. It’s not the best camera for taking selfies, but it’s good enough for video calling. Other included features: GPS with A-GPS, Stereo FM radio, Email, Instant Messaging, HTML browser, DivX/XviD/WMV/MP4/H.264 player, MP3/WAV/WMA/AAC player, Photo editor, Video editor, Document viewer and more.
