Maxwest Nitro 5 is a dual SIM smartphone with low-end specifications. It comes with 5.0″ IPS LCD display that dominates the front panel. The construction is pretty good. It looks sleek with the slim bezel and nearly angles corners. The display has a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels (220 ppi pixel density) which is pretty low for its size. The quality of the visual is not the best, but still acceptable. You can read text and view images clearly. The display has wider viewing angles which also an advantage. Navigating through menus is easier with the support of a responsive touchscreen. It’s already equipped with multitouch. The onscreen keyboard is spacious and has good accuracy. It accommodates large fingers pretty well. Basic feature like Accelerometer is included.

For the performance, it relies on a quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor which works together with Mali-400 GPU and 512 MB of RAM. It doesn’t show impressive performance and you may find it a bit laggish in certain occasions. However, the phone has the capacity to do simple tasks fairly well. Apps can be launched properly. Transition between menus can be done relatively easy. To store your files, the phone only has 4 GB of internal storage. Fortunately, you cam expand the storage capacity by adding external memory card up to 32 GB. The phone has standard connectivity features: Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot; Bluetooth v2.1; and microUSB v2.0.

A modest 5 MP camera is embedded on the rear side of the phone. It has some features like LED flash, geotagging and video recording capability. The camera is reliable for everyday use. It doesn’t offer superb results but it captures fairly good images for your social media. You will only find a VGA camera on the front panel. It’s not a really good camera to take pictures, but it still can be useful for video calling.   1. From Main Menu go to Settings.
  2. Find Backup and Reset option.
  3. Select Factory Data Reset.
  4. Tap Reset Phone.
  5. Select Erase Everything.
