Swipe Telecom has recently introduced a new smartphone called the Junior, mainly targeted according to children. The company is promising that the smartphone arrives with parental control features, and is made only for kids in the age group of between 5-15 years. The Swipe Junior smartphone is now available through various e-commerce websites like Flipkart, Snapdeal, the company mentioned on Twitter.
Some of the USP’s of the Swipe Junior handset includes a specially made UI for kids with some outstanding features such as geo-tracking and geo-fencing in order to track a child’s each & every movement. The smartphone allows parents to set safe and danger zones for kids. The Junior smartphone also permits parents to monitor a child’s app usage pattern. This app management system also permits parents to allow or block apps on the handset. Now, Parents can also get the location of their child using GPS, in a way it is good in terms for monitoring. Swipe Junior is packed inside a tough body. Another important feature to notice is SOS button on the smartphone that is basically placed for one-step dialing to a pre-defined contact. The handset also characteristics shock proof and break protective casing.
The Swipe Junior smartphone comes with a 4.5-inch IPS display and under the snood is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor. It comes also with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of inbuilt storage. The Android 4.4 KitKat-supportive Junior smartphone operates on a single SIM card with 3G support. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB. On the camera part, the handset sports a 2MP rear primary camera and a 0.3MP front facing camera for selfie and video chatting. The handset is also backed by a powerful 1900mAh battery option that is committed to deliver upto 8 hours of talk time and 120 hours of standby time. The company in this month also unveiled its 4G-enabled Elite 2 handset just at Rs. 4,666.
