Vernee, the newest entrant in the Chinese smartphone brands, has gathered a lot of attention with its flagship Vernee Apollo smartphone that was recently launched at $400. The Vernee Apollo comes with high-end features and is the cheapest smartphone with 6GB of RAM. The company also released a decent budget-friendly smartphone called as Vernee Thor priced at $130. Now, the company has unveiled a smaller variant of the Apollo called as Vernee Apollo Lite priced at $200 and offers powerful specifications.
Coming to the specifications part, the Vernee Apollo Lite features a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD display with 401ppi as pixel density while the Vernee Apollo comes with a 5.5-inch 2K display. Under the hood, it also comes equipped with MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz clubbed with Mali-T880 GPU as seen on the Apollo. The Apollo Lite is the most affordable smartphone to feature Helio X20 SoC. The device has hybrid sim slot that can also be used as a microSD card slot instead of the second sim.
The device has 4GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion of memory upto 128GB. On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 16MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calling and crisp selfie images. It sports an all-metal unibody design and also includes a fingerprint sensor for enhanced security of the device. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based company’s customized UI out of the box.
The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and includes connectivity options such as 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB port.
