Vivo Set To Launch Xplay 5 On 1st March
Another Chinese manufacturer Vivo better known for its slim-smartphone – the Vivo Max, has confirmed that all set to include massive 6GB LPDDR4 RAM in its upcoming smartphone – the Xplay 5. According to company the smartphone features a teaser image mentioning 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and Snapdragon 820 processor for the Vivo Xplay 5. The handset will be launched on 1st March 2016. Some of the previous images have indicated that the handset to sport a QHD (1440×2560) pixels resolution display.
The addition of 6GB RAM should not come as a surprise to as Samsung in September last year already started producing 6GB LPDDR4 RAM for smartphones and tablets. The smartphone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64 bit quad core processor, that is already been used on most of the devices recently. It is also confirmed that this handset will be packed with 6GB RAM (LPDDR4) and it will be using dual curved edge screen.
Vivo at CES displayed two Android smartphones, the Vivo 5 and Vivo XL. The Vivo XL sports a liquid metal finish while the Vivo 5 features a full metal design. Both the new smartphones comes with a lot of identical innards such as 5.5-inch Super Amoled HD display, octa-core MediaTek (MT6753) processor and more. One of the biggest differences between the two handsets is that the Vivo 5 features 3GB of RAM and comes with 32GB inbuilt storage, while the Vivo XL packs 2GB of RAM and includes 16GB of inbuilt storage.
Some other rumored features – the smartphone consists 16MP rear primary camera on the back and an 8MP front facing secondary camera on the front for selfies and video chats. This handset will be loaded with some good connectivity features like 4G, 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and probably NFC and finger print scanner. Xplay5 may come with a 6 inch screen with Quad HD – 1440 pixels resolution.
