Vodafone had recently launched two new smartphones in the Smart series named as Smart Prime 7 and Smart First 7. Now, the company has been another smartphone at the official website, called as Vodafone Smart Platinum 7, that comes with high-end specifications. It also features a new VR handset additionally included to the device. The device is the successor of the Vodafone Smart Ultra 6, which was launched in 2015.
The Vodafone Smart Platinum 7 smartphone comes with metal frame body design and features a 5.5-inch AMOLED WQHD display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution while on Smart Ultra 6 has FHD screen. It offers a 534 PPI of pixel density. Under the hood, it comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor clocks at 1.8 GHz along with Adreno 510 GPU. It runs on latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
The handset supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE, which is the first 4G+ smartphone from the company. It features a fingerprint sensor, which is placed on the rear side of the device for unlocking the device and has front stereo speakers. Connectivity options on the device include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, 3.5 mm audio jack, NFC, and GPS. It houses a 32GB built-in storage which can be further expandable upto 128GB through microSD card slot and 3 GB RAM.
As per as cameras are concerned, it sports a 16-megapixel autofocus primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, zero second shutter lag, and dual LED flash. It can record videos upto 4K (2160p) at 30 frames per second and has an 8-megapixel second camera with flash for selfies and video calling. It packs a 3000 mAh capacity battery with quick charge 3.0 support. It can last the battery life throughout all the day of usage.
The Vodafone Smart Platinum 7 will be available only Quartz Black color and will get a device for the price tag of £300 on Pay-as-you-go or suggested the contract price £28 per monthly.
