ZTE Launches Blade A2 Smartphone with 5″ HD display, MediaTek MT6750 SoC hard-reset.net

The Chinese handset maker, ZTE has unveiled a new budget level smartphone targeted to youth and students in the Blade series named as ZTE Blade A2. It is the successor of ZTE Blade A1 smartphone was launched in December 2015. The Blade A2 handset comes with full metal body design while ZTE Blade A1 came with the plastic body design. The handset has fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear side below the camera sensor and in the bottom rear side located the ZTE logo. In the left side, it has a volume rockers and power button, sim card slot placed on the right edge of the device.

The ZTE Blade A2 smartphone flaunts a 2.5D curved screen with 5.0-inch IPS HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution and offers a 294 PPI of pixel density. Under the hood, it relies on MediaTek MT6750 Octa-core processor clocks at 1.5 GHz paired with ARM Mali T860 MP2 Graphics. While Blade A1 smartphone equipped with Quad-core 1.3 GHz accompanied by MediaTek MT6735 SoC. It runs on the company’s MiFAvour 3.2 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop laid on top.

It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE with VoLTE, and other connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, FM Radio, 3.5 mm audio jack and Micro-USB port. The device features fingerprint sensor which unlocks the handset in 0.3 seconds. There is also providing the other features like 360-degree finger recognition, 3D fingerprint sensor and fingerprint payment options. It has a 16GB internal storage which will further expandable up to 128 GB based on microSD card slot and 2 GB RAM.

In the camera department, it bears a 13-megapixel autofocus primary camera with LED flash that will record videos up to 1080p at 30 frames per second. Up front, it has a 5-megapixel front snapper for capturing selfies and video calling. Regarding battery, the Blade A2 smartphone comes with 2500mAh capacity battery and measures 143.8 x 70.2 x 7.9 mm of dimensions and unknown weight.

The ZTE Blade A2 smartphone will be available in Grey, Gold, and Silver color variants. The handset is priced at 599 Yuan for the regular 4G option and 699 Yuan for dual 4G edition. It will start the shipping from June 15. Recently, the company has launched ZTE Axon 7 smartphone priced at 3099 Yuan for 4 GB RAM and 4099 Yuan for 6 GB RAM version.
